Cool First few weeks of Practice

    Hello everyone,

I have been practicing drawing for a few weeks now and I have been struggling a lot. Most of my pieces come out looking misshaped. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to improve based on these images below?

    Red face MY daily routine

This is a example of how I warm up everyday before drawing. What do
    you do to warm up?

I like that you do warm-ups. i should try them too.

as for your drawings, just keep doing more of them, and think about the form of what you are drawing. For example with the boy sticking his tongue out, the legs look pasted on and flat, especially if you compare them to the ovoid shape of the torso (it shows through in the lines) - try thinking of them as cylinders attached to the spherical form of the body instead, or something like that

    keep it up!

Indeed - you're heading in the right direction. Try to understand what Loomis is talking about though and do your own sketches - rather than just copying his. Also try to draw from life as much as possible. And draw larger - those look very small. You have a long way to go but at least you've started.

    What would Caravaggio do?

Can anyone suggests a good study plan for me when I practice drawing? I want to get into character designing, but like what should I be specifically doing everyday when I draw. I typically do warm ups, construct blook balls, draw mickey hands, and practice constructing people. I feel like I should be doing much more if I want to progress.

Hey I like your Ash, Link, and samurai in the last post. The Ash in particular has a great adventure time feel about him, keep that up, and you'll do great! ^_^
