A tribute to Mercedes Sosa, an amazing Argentinian singer, and some practices with the loomis way
Hey, great dedication with your studies. The pen work will really help with economy of line and contouring. I think you should invest in a longer study with them, think 10-15 hours. Keep at it.
Thanks mate! I really like to work with pen, I didn't get the last thing enough, you say that I should study more with pen? Anyways, relly thanks for the comment!
Today bought a new notebook, so, more sketches
Thanks for dropping by my SB, man! As I said there you are showing great progress and determination. I hope to keep up a similar conviction in my own studies.
I saw on your devART page you did a re-imagining of Goku which cracked me up because I was just thinking of doing the same thing earlier today and I had planned to draw him very similar to your own I guess great minds think alike!
Keep up the good work!

Great progression and commitment! I think what CKLamb meant was working longer on a single study for a longer time, but I can't speak for him of course (it's quite obvious you're already putting in some hours into your pen work!). If you're up for it, you could give Bargues a shot too. It takes a lot of patience to get them looking right, but it's worth the effort!
It seems like you do quite a bit of digital, I don't know if you're familiar with the site but CtrlPaint.com has a bunch of really awesome videos both specific (and not specific) to digital art. If you're looking to work on values, this short video demonstrates one basic approach quite nicely I think (working from the darkest shadows into the rest in value studies make things much easier for me).
First of all, Thanks! And LoL, yeah I did that a long time ago for a DA group that focus on challenges and that one was redisign and, it's what it is, really thanks and I'll keep dropping some comments on your sketchbooks
Thanks mate! And yes that's important, don't lose the way
Thanks to you too!, and yes I'm trying on focusing more on specific things, in these last weeks on faces and the structure of the gead, I watched some Bargue studies some time ago and I think that I'll try some
And yeah! I know it since first day of the blog, It's amazing and I based a lot of studies on Math Kohr's advices, really thanks for the comment and the help!
More notebook drawings!
Gas masks everywhere!
No problem man! thanks and I'll keep doing that until the death (?
Some rough ideas
Kind of mutation of a bug!
Thanks! I'll try that, I really like working more "traditional", acually, I'm trying to work with more pencils now, thanks for the advice!
Some drawings from the sketchbook, and finishing the character design
Some (bad) Hands
Back on track!
After a week without internet I'm back on fields
Just a loomis face with some paint
David meets T.V!
First I had an idea on my mind, and then I remembered that I had a practice of a bust of David, so this is it
Some kind of steampunk pilot maybe
An -from life- study, and some thumbs of environment that I'm trying to work for the game Nanoattack
I tried to push forward values on the bottle image, and work in progress of a series of studies that Sean, my kind of "mentor" told me to do of screen caps to work more on values
I'm having some troubles to post and use computer with school and such, but I'm going to still trying to post every day.
Here some ideas
Your cast shadow for the bottle is a bit dark Egg0. A lot of people think the cast shadow is just one dark black color but a lot of time it's more of a gradient. Darkest at the point closest to the object and then lightening as it moves further away. Really solid improvements from when i first visited here
Yeah I've been watching that, my cast shadow it's a little to forced, I'll try that! Really thanks for the support since I've opened this Sketchbook mate!
Working for Nanoattack
Some kind of character design, maybe I'll carry on with one of these
I'm having some troubles with internet in my house, so I'll not uploading until it fixes :/ shit
Well, it's seems that now it's working ok, so, here I am posting more
Well some kind of environments that I have in my mind for Nanoattack
Well, I took the third photo and I'm trying to make my very first kind of environment (with some references on it, like a matte picture), so, let's see how it finnish
