Smile One draw by day - (The revenge!)

Hello there! Once I've already introduce myself (here), I really think that I have to do this, I'm stuned with other artist's sketchbook and how they improve every they, and keep growing and growing.
I'm 16 years ago, I draw since like 1 year ago, before i used to draw some things, but since 1 year to now, I tried to take it "for real", some of my (mainly) inspirations are: Hethe Srodawa, Marko Djudjevic, Feng Zhu, Jason Chan (I've watched a lot tutorials from this last 2).

And 2 things that I like to clear, 1st, feel free for any critic, tip, or whatever that you think would help me, and 2nd, I like to draw on traditional way, but I've not a scanner (yeah it's sucks, I have to buy a cheap one like, right now) so I'm gonna "limitate" to only draw on pc, just know that I draw on paper too (or practice basically).

And one final thing, I live in Uruguay (a small country between Argentina and Brasil), here the main lenguage it's Spanish, so, sorry for my english, I know it's not quite good.

    Some of my concepts/drawings:

Render practice. Just some render practice that I did today, and I'm gonna update the progression in the next days. The character model is (Torch) from Unreal Tournament 2004

PS: The quality is quite good, now that I can see it :s

I'd like to see some more of those studies. Loomis and Bridgman need some more love brother! that stuff pays big later, it'll help give your characters a bit more flavor. I'd spend more time on that before you move put in too much time on digital. Like everyone always says, Sketching is the foundation! You can find Andrew Loomis's Books available for free PDF download.

Yeah that's very true!, actually I do some practices on paper of an anatomy book that I have, the thing is that I don't have a scanner or a good camera, so I can't post it here

But really thanks for the advice! I hear that very often and I know is true
    Back to basics!

    See ya' around!

Taking the advice from Ixallus, I was watching some of The Human Machine from Bridgman, and it's great!, I have the Loomis books and are excellents too. And I decide make some sketches, just copying 2 of the book. Here they are, I think that sometimes copy is good, because you start to see some lines or thing that you didn't see if you just, draw.

BTW thanks man, and sorry for my english :s

PS: I didn't care much about lines and such, it was some quick sketches

Excelente!

    Abrazo!

    Day 9

Such a long day, I'm really tired, but I really feel that I have to do this before sleep, damn, I think that the effect of this sketchbook to me is really good, it makes me wanna just, practice and practice. I love that.
I know that just 1, 2 or 3 anatomy studies in a day, is nothing, but today -like I said before- was a long day, so I did this and go to bed right now (3:27 a.m)

i like that you put time into presenting your studies attractively when you post!

if you can get your hands on scott robertson's perspective dvd's, it would be great to study as well!
