Haven't updated in a while. I don't have much that I can share, but here's what I've been able to do past couple weeks.

    renegades

Took forever to complete this one, I changed directions so many times (poses, colors, clothes, background, expressions) but finally I think I can call it done and get back to environment concepts. I started this painting while listening to this track, it gave me the inspiration for it...

@Metal Fingers Thanks! They are my strongest one I think too, the TAS one I can't even look at anymore without seeing a pile of crap haha...anyways, here's some new ones.

I started with one sketch of the area. Then I used the transform tool to create a bunch of other thumbnails out of it (didnt have to paint different angles) after like 3 mins I had about 10 different versions, I picked my favorite ones. I finished one, which is the one with the spirit in it. Hoping to be able to finish the remaining 3 sketches in the next few days. First one took 3-4 hours to detail. Pictures used in the process.

Decided to keep working on the previous one. I didnt want the ghost to be the main focus, because I wanted this to be a environment concept that I could potentially use for my portfolio, so I just removed it. I used the transform tool to quickly change the camera angle (sort of). Then I kept using some more pictures, more painting, adjustment layers and final details around the door which is what I wanted to be the main focus.

Hey! haven't updated here in a very long time. I have so many personal pieces going on at the same time. I have trouble focusing on one thing only...So here's a bunch of work in progress haha. And theres like 15 other paintings that id like to finish at home eventually. But I'm sure that instead of finishing those ideas, I'll just end up creating new ones again...anywayyyyys. feel free to point out any issues. They're all giving me a hard time! Especially the third one as I am kinda stuck on it trying to fix stuff and just going back and forth cause I keep messing it up while trying.

Crazy old man whos going to be playing piano...I have to add a piano there! and add more background elements (his clone is probably just a placeholder, I'll probably end up removing it and replacing it with something more interesting) This is being done alongside an music album a friend is doing.

Forgot this one. Used references to paint the guy and the shark. The guy is from this video, I paused at 3:32 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cheKcX4Hu7U&feature

    .

Mafiawars Chicago game on facebook. It is the first project I worked on when I got hired at Behaviour Interactive. I really enjoyed working on that one. It's pretty much the only project I worked on that got released so far. That was a bout a year ago, but I still like em. They are mostly matte painting. All the characters are photos that we took before beginning production. Background are parts of multiple photos and some painting. I've done more for the project, but these are my favorites.

Also, i forgot to mention that I was provided line art sketches by another artist before beginning working on those. I can't remember his name he was hired just for this project and then left, sorry

You've got a dynamic style going on there, you could get places with that. Or maybe you already have, i only look at the pictures so you could have wrotten out your entire life story and i wouldn't of noticed but to be short: professional and original, i like!

Here's some new stuff I have been working on. A finished concept (top) and a work in progress (bottom).

the top one was a 3D paint over exercise for a small 3D course I signed for at work. Character is not 3D, only parts of the room.

    Hey!

Here's the progress i've made on the last piece I posted weeks ago.
Been working quite alot on it, especially on the helm designs.
The 3 characters in the background are just copy paste of the middle
guy, ill make them more unique as I keep working on the image.
the top one is the actual image I work on, and the bottom one (the yellow)
I was just having a little bit of fun with it trying to make it into a desktop.

will update again later! thanks for dropping by
