Can anyone give me any tips on drawing hair?
hmmm a way to try it is not to worry about it strand for stand, but to draw it as a form, and apply lighting to the form where appropriate... check out some of teh pieces in teh life painting thread
Try squinting at the hair to only see the light and dark shapes; then draw those. After you've got the light and dark 'clumps' where they go, maybe add a little texture to give the impression that there's hair, if it's necessary.
Squinting is always a useful method of breaking things down into their basic light and dark patterns. If you can get those right, then it will look exactly like what it is you're drawing, and all the details will be a nice bonus.
