I think your palettes have gotten much more controlled since the start, I like the moods you've achieved on this one, this one and this one for example. I also like the palette and clear separation of the figure and background on this one. Good construction and pose on this figure! The hands could've used more definition though.
Great sketchbook, I wish I was as productive!

thanks for droppin in again smuli. not sure wether im that productive as, unlike you, i barely made any real studies during the last weeks... ;x
however thanks for all the cirts. im glad you like the mood in the stormy coast painting. i started a more defined version which i will share when finished.
next step is to work with very defined sketches again as things get out of control too easily

i was painting cr** the whole day until i came up with this speedpainting. quite like the mood..ill go over it tomorrow

ah well i ended up going berserk with the palette knife these days..its fun but it still feels a bit stiff with a wacom

ah well.. there are problems in understanding whats going on in that snow pic i guess. apart from that it was fun to paint that future soldier dood..theres a more detailed version but this one has more clearity

its been a while ...alsmost 3 years have passed. i wanna make a start again. still havent given up that career hah!
