Hmm... I like the backgrounds of the Harrigan covers, but the characters themselves look kinda lifeless. The really smooth skin might be part of that, as well as the eyes. They look like models rendered in Poser. The second cover has the most life to it. In the third cover Honor looks like a giant next to that structure which I assume is supposed to be some major building. That could have been a lot larger. I know she's meant to be the primary focus, but the values could carry that. The way it is now makes the perspective look weird.
Fourth cover suffers from that poserish look, and the fifth cover has that kind of obvious and cheesy lens flare. In the sixth cover the black woman's face seems to fall into the uncanny valley, somewhere between realism and unnatural cartoony-ness. She has really dead looking eyes.
I would spend more time studying faces and looking at what makes for an appealing design that doesn't look uncanny. The face of the black woman in red in your more cartoony style is also suffering from that uncanny look. There also looks to be some proportion problems as far as where the eyes are placed in relation to each other and the nose.
The photo collage type covers look slightly haphazard. The cover where you cut out the wof eyes: You could have melded those two images a lot better. Use some blending techniques or twist the image behind the wolf in those areas to seem more rounded and contained within that space.
In the one after that with the person's face: why is it cut off so suddenly? What's the primary focus on this cover? Lots of elements just seem thrown there in the hope that one of them sticks. Because of all that I just tune them out and concentrate on the sun. there in the middle.
The one after that with the woman on the horse doesn't look like it merges very well with the background. The lighting conditions on that woman are not at all in line with the background! They're completely divorced from each other! It creates a very strange looking image. Also using the clone stamp tool on those spears is really obvious.
You seem to be very good at getting work, but you should try to mesh your images better and create unified images with characters that don't fall into the uncanny valley.
