Just two studies. I feel like I have evolved some today, it might not be noticeable in the studies but by looking on one of Quigleyer's paintings it clicked

For one of my school projects I shall create and design the cover of a movie/game and I'm gonna have some pandas in my game so I thought it was good to do some preparing studies. Tested two different ways of making the fur, I've not desided witch one I like prefer.. D: But Pandas rock

Yesterday after looking in some swedish guys sb I realised that I do not paint enough...And my anatomi is not cool.
The I also thought of my "new" painting style mostely using the soft brush I'm not sure if I like it so much.. on the coloured woman study, I really dislike the stage before "the final touch" but I kinda like the resoult. But today I tried some more rougher ways of painting. I like the flat brush.
Last is a wip of the made up game I'm designing. the pandas shall be more badass plus "of death" shall be under "pandas"

Some studies and own work, I really need to get a new version of photoshop cuz wrap-tool is quite needed when painting buildings...
I remade my panda today, I think I started on it sometime between sping and summer, this more how I imagend It took between 2-3hours and I was playin some chess against the f***ing computer at the same time, the computer is pure evil.
Keep it bacon.

This weekends studies I feel really disproductive but I think it's because my sleeping problems. anyway I feel like I have envolved some. I've started using the pen-tool which is a possum tool.
Edit: Anyone know a good site with male models? I already know CharacterDesign and ArtsyPoses, not so happy with the supply. D:
Cheers people. Stay bacon.

OK, You got me with the BACON in your handle!
I can definetly see improvement from page 1 to 4 so keep putting in the mileage. One thing that I have noticed especially in your colored work is that you appear to be painting the light and not the form. This causes your work to come out flat looking. I suggest that you go back to monochromatic and concentrate on values and modeling the form. Once you get that down, then color will really take off for you.

very nice sketchbook. one thing I've noticed is that on your digital studies the edges seem choppy, so work on making those smoother and sharper. keep up the anatomy practice!

Wheeljack18 Thanks alot, your comment was really appritiate, you may be the one that makes me level up
ezekrialase Thank, I'm not really sure about what you meen, in some studies(last ones) I use the pen-tool to make super duper sharp edges it's kinda bacon I think.
Abee Boobs beat buts
Aragah Haha thanks mate, but I just paint like very much
Some work that I've done over the weekend and this week execpt the skulpture that I did last week which was the most awesome week in a very long time. It stil sucks that I can't upload any traditional drawings cuz last week I made some cool model-drawings.. well well

Todays work. Just gonna keep practise in the monocrome world, shape and value ftw. And I do not have my good screen since I'm home so if the images not have enough contrast I blame some on my screen. But. . . Found some cool male modell. which is pwetty bacon.

Good studies and art pieces! As a crit, I would definitely pay a bit more attention to your value scale! A lot of your studies have figures that appear flat or as a series of shapes because your values are not right. I see a lot that have a value that is way too bright and looks like a highlight instead of a mid-tone skin. I would really play around with that and see how you can create fuller or more accurate value with your figure studies and paintings. Otherwise, keep up the intensity!!

Aragah Thanks man, set a goal and give everything to reach it..it's the only whale
lemming-clone- Thanks alot mr.cloneman, from now I will focus much more on the value. Your comment helped me improve today, so thanks again.
I don't have so much time to paint today.. D:
Two studies I did after reading lemming-clone-'s comment. Idid both in like one and a half hour and like only focused on the value and I feel like I've improved but still...DAMN YOU VALUE!!! :@
One thing, anayone else think it's super duper ironic in Star Wars episode IV when Ben describes how good aim the impirial stormtroopers have(when they find the destroyed Jawa "facillity". And In the rest of the movie the stormtroopers don't hit a shit...

Thanks for stopping by and I see that you are taking my advice and doing some tonal work. Next, I suggest that you do some less sketchy studies and spend more time on a single more detailed study. It doesn't have to be figurative and many choose to do Barque method drawings from plaster casts. Have you tried a Barque drawing?
December 17th, 2011 #110
Wheeljack18 Thanks alot, haha first I didn't know what Barque drawing meant but we did it for a week ago in school but it was more like a light version since we only had a day to finish..But I thought it was really nice. Problem is I do not have a scanner or a printer that is one of the reasons that I work much digital D:
Last studies of tha day.. it's like super duper amazing how much more realistic images look when the value is more correct.. O_O

Two studies.. Gonna be away untill the day after tomorrow..
I've been exprimenting some with rendering styles.. and honestly I do not like the soft brush at all it's just good at one thing to make a half good resoult fast. The thing that is marked in red is more the way I want it..or if u look at my panda remake in some post above.
Defiledvisions broke up with me today..I'm super duper hardcore hurt </3
December 22nd, 2011 #114
Not been painting so much today been shopping christmas presents and so.. still practice on my rendering style I gave the soft brush one more try and only used it a tiny bit. But I'm insecure of which one I like most top is soft brush and low is without. Gonna give it a good think the rest of the evning.

I'm really not very good at sketching digitali but I feel lot's of improvment since last time I did it.
December 26th, 2011 #118
Small pupdate, I've been dealing with mighty mysteries today..
It's a f***ing Baconstrap... O_O

Keep it Bbacon
