I thought his tentacles looked like the arms of a Sentinel/Squiddy from 'The Matrix'. But other than that, it looks alright.

yeah, from the initial teaser poster thing I felt the same....but having seen the new trailer I'm pumped....I like how it seems to have so many tangled plotlines and stuff...

wow, this one seems to get fun. storyline seems solid, as does the villain. if the manage not to mess up the fight scenes like in the first one, everything should work out.
though i see a slight resemblance in what happens with kirsten dunst...

You thought Spiderman 1 sucked? And that Resident Evil was good? Heh...wow...I can't say I agree with your opinions at all, but hell they're yours. I personally think Spiderman was well written, acted, shot, and everything else. Even more, I liked the fact they put more emphisis in Peter than Spidey. They wrote Peter really really well. And from the looks of the trailer, they didn't let it down.

Should be at least as good as the first one. That is a big thing, because the first one sort of set the standards for a comic driven movie very high. Looks pretty cool, I like how they had to add that deep voiced guy just at the end "The story continues". Now, does anyone know where I can find some choir music please? That trailer reminded me, I've been wanting to get some of that =D

Looks great. My only problem is that it's a bit too easy for me to tell where the CG is. (Though this isn't as much a problem, since it looks cool nevertheless.)

That, and Gwen Stacy is going to be in the movie. Not knocking her character or anything, but I just dislike it whenever a character is written towards a specific event in "service" of the story...

Also, just for the record, here's the only stuff I really didn't like about the first film:

-The green goblin's suit. While the glider's just fine as-is, I would've liked to see something a bit more "experimental design" in flavor with exposed raw electronics and whatnot. I also would've liked to have seen the goblin's mask made of an actual halloween mask, rather than the techno-mask they gave him.

-No one bothering to question why a guy in an Oscorp designed experimental suit & glider is running on a rampage. At the very least, they should've had a subplot with Paker doing some research and finding that out or something. (So he suspects that Harry is connected to the goblin; he just doesn't know how deeply.)

-The green goblin so easily holding onto the cable-car cable while standing atop the bridge. Even with super-strength, he looks damn goofy standing up there when it's obvious to just about anyone that he should be yanked off the top of the bridge simply by the weight of the thing versus his own body weight.

-The damn goofy looking CG Tobey in his rooftop running sequence.

-The "skeletons dropping to the ground" scene. Really just seemed kinda cheesy in execution to me.
