    Transform and scaling problem

    Hello guys,

Hope someone can help me with this --

I can't transform items or selections anymore, other than by typing numerical values (for example 90%, or -5 degrees).
My problem is that I can't click on the little boxes at the corners of the square that appears when you want to transform or scale something. As soon as I try they disappear, and I have to transform via numbers (quite a pain until you get it right), and distortion is impossible tis way. The problem appeared shortly after installing Painter 10. I run it on a Macbook Pro connected to a Wacom Cintiq. Drivers for those are all up to date.

    Suggestions?

I'd try a reset by holding down Shift when launching. Save your user folder if you have some customisation you'd like to keep.

Ok I'll try that. Can you tell me where my user folder is? I have some custom brushes and custom key sets saved. I guess they shouldn't be affected...or do I have to save them elsewhere on the disk?

I use a PC but I think your folder is here: Users > [User Name] > Library > Application Support > Corel > Painter 11 > [Workspace Name]

If you haven't named your workspace it might say "Default" as it does on Windows. Save your brushes, etc. or just save the whole Default folder and copy it back after reset.
