Films about Art
I'm looking for films about art. I am very interested in films on the history of art, painting, graffiti, but not limited to those:p
If you know of any good ones please tell me about them

Simon Schama did a little series called Power of Art that was quite interesting--each one focused on a particular artist. I believe they are all up on youtube if you do a search there.
If you are interested in graffiti, Exit Through the Giftshop is supposed to be really good. It is about Banksy. I haven't seen it myself yet, but have heard only good things about it.

Hulu has some great specials on art free for anyone with high speed internet.
The ART:21 series has some good info on art thinking for today. Many art students starting today are trying to replicate old methods that have long ago dropped out of favor with contemporary art buyers.
Hulu also has a good biography on "Post-Impressionists: Van Gogh and Gauguin." It's about an hour and a half long and really adds to the understanding of them. This is the best version of the real Paul Gauguin I have ever seen. Basically he was a 1st class jerk as a person.
Check out hulu and I'm sure you'll find more. They used to offer full episodes of "Work of Art" but no longer have them. "Work of Art" can be found on some Cable networks I'm told. This program is red hot for people who want to understand galleries and how modern art critics think. Many artists today are totally ignorant in this area.

I thought Art School Confidential was a terrible movie.
Try watching the movie "Cashback." It's a romance movie but the main character is an art student and it does has some artistic moments.
Other movies you should watch...
Bomb it- very good documentary about graffiti
Exit through the Gift Shop
Art 21 TV series
Our City Dreams
That is all I can really think of.
