    Question Duke Nuken Forever

I was just thinking about the status on this game the other day, so I took a visit over to the 3D Realms forum - it looks as though this game is still in production.. I think? What are others opinions on this, or do you know anything. I've heard it's just a hoax now and also it's still in strong production.

Last thing I've heard is that the releasedate is somewhere in 2005. Cos' first they had it in UT engine, but that's old now, so they need to do the whole thing over, or something like that.

You lie because Duke Nukem Forever doesn't exist! When is it coming out? Never, thats why it has "Forever" in the title.

You ***fool*** he wanted you to think it existed so you could fall for the idea it does exist. Don't give in! Resist!

    There's a reason it's initials are DNF.

I'm wondering if they're making another graphics engine upgrade.

My brother says he remembers waiting for this game to come out in Junior high....

    ...he's a college sophomore now.

They're using the Unreal 2k4 engine apparently.

Also, this game by all means should've been out years ago (remember the totally awesome E3 video a few years ago?...that build of the game was playable and literally could've been launched in a mater of months.) but from what I've been reading around the place, there's apparently been some pretty bad leadership by guys like George Broussard, not to mention lots of stir-ups and internal drama.

On another note, here's hoping Halflife 2 doesn't get delayed again.*

Here's a three years old april fool's joke about Duke Nukem Forever:
    http://www.3dactionplanet.com/features/articles/april/

They had been working on it for ages even back then. I wonder how many times they've switched engines...wasn't it the Quake 2 engine first? Then Unreal (1) ?

See, Duke Nukem Forever isn't real.

"3D Realms, a pioneer in the PC Gaming business, sent shockwaves across the industry with the announcement today that their flagship game, Duke Nukem Forever, never existed."

As for Crash, you have mocked me for the last time! I challenge in "Thunder Dome Forever".
