Couple of things from this week-Another Ozcomics submission, topic was Coen Bros films. Did a really sloppy entry but have since cleaned it up, may refine further if I can find a place for it in my portfolio. First time doing a caricature and found it really rough initially.
Also did a redesign of "Castle Grayskull" from "Masters of the Universe". Trying to get more detail in my work, still a lot more to go on it but I'm not totally hating it, which is a good sign for me. One thing I've learned is I really need to do some perspective and hard surface rendering practice.
nice uptade m8y!!
enjoyed a lot the Coen Bros work
the Castle Grayskull is getting good too! i like the textures you aplied
i only think that you could try to make these outside towers more alike the inner stuff... inside it is very original, but outside it is a little bit clichet...
the skull is great though! maybe if you blend it with the walls and the towers, you could get some interesting design outside!!
loved the dragons on the first page! that archer riding a wolf is great too!
your composition is awesome mate....good job! Trying to figure out how to get the colors right in digital art meself...still keep at it!
Thanks guys, Pedro, I know where you're coming from but I need to retain some elements from the original design. Perhaps the elements aren't working together.
Anyways some ideas for this weeks chow, not really inspiring me to go any further with them and I promised myself free time would be spent on studies this week.
That's some really gorgeous work. I love your use of colors
my online portfolio.
Hey man, just want to drop a comment here and say I totally dig your stuff. I saw your ideas for CHoW in the community activities. I think they are really sound thumbnails. Looking forward to seeing which one you work up. All the best. Keep rocking, you have a really solid foundation.
Thanks guys, I've been quietly working away still, here is another ozcomics thing and a couple of wips. The shaman guy is for the Art Order test.
That pale big creature fighting the knight in your second post, I love it! It looks nasty and I like that. Moar plsss
Batman speedie sketch thingy
Some progress, flattened out the background a lot, I felt it was competing a bit too much with the character.
Finals for D&D art test
