    Girl with Robot

Just a lil inkdrawing that I plan on coloring later~
The legs look horrible (especially the feet) but it's too late to change it since I've inked em.. Or.. ? o_o

Looks cool. Personally I never get this whole "figure on a blank background" thing that I seem to see on the forum a lot... so it's hard to say anything. I mean, it's a very, very nice drawing. I guess I just don't know where it's supposed to "live" in the world...

Looks pretty good there. Do you ink on paper or digitally ?
If it's digitally please tell me how always had a hard time inking on the puter

Anyways think you can fix the feet by creating some "webbing" between the toes perhaps

But i like it good detail

the reason why I never draw backgrounds is because.. well.. I simply CANT draw backgrounds XD!
I dunno how to.. I work with inked lineart.. and should I ink the background as well or let it be in some smooth color so it wont draw attention from the main character in the picture? Maybe you have some tips about this?

Well, you don't have to draw backgrounds. You just need to figure out where you want your work to go...

Well i got a little tip
just to make a color bg try adding a gradient .. nothing fancy.. just to fill out the white.. of course this is only usefull for colored peices, othervise you get a white shape on bg

But just if you want a colored peice to stand less out give it some simple bg colors
