    triumph rocks!!!!

    i made it back to school and whipped this up quick, it was kind of a struggle to get back to doin this after taking 5 days off!!! but i forced myself to do a quick one

    fab: that one looks great, i think the eyes look just fine, nothing wrong with them. i've been struggling with each and everyone one i do to get my proportions and placement right...sometimes i have to do 3 or 4 before i can get it right!

    lionel: it looks good, i like the expression, i'm tryin to ease myself into portraits with varied expressions

    agpaoa: looks cool, i think for being metal though it should have some sharper edges and shadows.

    ironspy: those look great, i really like the 3rd one down, great line work on it

    oblio: like lionel said , the reflections are great. i didn't really notice until i read lionel's comment.....great work

    And nice work in the new thread!

    Oblio, nice colors!

    Ironspy, all really great and have its own mood in it!
    Only the nose in the last one is a bit too purple

    Lionel, why you look so damn stupid this time?
    But as good as every time.

    faB, really great one, I believe its you!

    Here is my new one, tried a new pose and mimic, hope you like it as much as i did.

    Triumph for President of the World, please...

    ******************

    ZippZopp- you're right about the metal rendering, but the thing is, my reference was an old scuffed-up T2 action figure (ie; a plastic DOLLY).

    Trying to render proper chrome probably would have added an extra five hours to my SPOD time (which I try to keep to about an hour, at most).

    Anyways, enough of my excuses...

    I think I'll break out the tiny mirror again. It's a good way to get the weird close-up shots. I like your latest, Zippzopp, for that reason.

    Duracel- Awesome light sourcing... you are clearly the living dead.

    and that's why I did a portrait with santa claus' cap today.

    @Oblio - especially like the blue and green background very much. Thanks for your reply on what GBA is! Probably I'm really getting old...

    @Ironspy - I like the variety of your portraits. The umbrella watercolor one and the last one are my favourites.

    @Lionel - whoa, another one with a friendly expression! The lower lip doesn't read too well, there's a too dark spot on the teeth in the left half and a tooth seems to get over the lower lip in the right half. Can you see what I mean?

    @Agpaoa -

    @faB - yes, your right eye is way too small

    @Duracal - your upper head (Hinterkopf) seems too long. It looks like you felt really really sick. So I think you accomplished your mission, didn't you?

    @keyth - good, as usual
    Imagination is intelligence having fun!

    Agpaoa: Wow thunderdome stuf already. Shouldn't you wait till just before the deadline

    faB: Wow another really nice one

    ZippZopp: Always is a but of a strugle getting back into it but every one you do makes it easier

    Duracel: Stupid is as stupid does

    Mr.Brian: You make it look so easy. I love the economy of your marks

    keyth: Your back !! yey

    jester: Your damm right about the lip. I painted it in a real hurry. Love the folds in that cap. You look a little miserable in that one.

    Finally reached portrat number 50 . I though I would color this one as it is my 50th but will start doing some monocrome ones tommorow to do some serious work on my proportions.
