    "This is harsh. Evaluate me."

Been doing Photoshop for 3 years now, just got back into speedpainting very recently. I also do manga art once in a while.
The above quote's from Demon's Souls (Asia), a game I've been hooked on for the past few weeks.
    I'm a NEET.

Hopefully I can update this thing regularly. Oh, and get an art-related scholarship while I'm at it.

Ah, looking good! One word of advice to you: downscale your images a bit, so it will be easier for us to see the images. I'd say you can scale them down about 60%.

Updated - new speedpainting! 35 minutes, 1 layer on Photoshop CS3.

    Description:
Vilena, twin sister to Vargas, is the Empress of the Land of Storms of the Far South. Unlike her brother, she resides in the empire's grand palace, challenging those who would dare challenge her for the right to the Grim Throne. As a Deathlord, she wields the storm blade Dreadwing, Dreadfang's counterpart.

call me crazy, but the point of speedpainting is?..to produce rough unifinished uncoloured work? maybe in another 3 years when youve learnt to sketch more =]
but good job anyway, some strong stuff :]

Okay, so you're not a fan of 'unfinished uncoloured work'. So here's some fanart I did some time ago, it's finished and coloured, referenced off of a lowres image I found. Practice purposes, mostly.

For me, the point of speedpainting is to challenge an artist to do the best they can in a given period of time. Think of it as practice, to be able to produce work with a good balance of time/effort.

Back with another character concept. This time, 26 minutes, still 1 layer on PSCS3.

Deathlord of kingless knights and lordless guardsmen, Feldor reigns over the ruined Western Kingdom, rallying these leaderless men to conquer the whole land. At over three meters tall, he is a sight no adventurer wishes to see. His cleaver and shield, Aurum and Argentum, steals the enemy's life force and heals damage he sustains. Feldor's unusually great size comes from his origin as a Giant lord of the Lands Beyond, whose inhabitants stand almost twice as tall as normal humans.

Another go at Vargas. Trying to get a better-looking design, and trying to make it somewhat consistent.
    Oh well.
