lookin good so far, im interested to see what you produce..

id suggest for that new one, work it up in black and white, get your values right, then add another layer above that and start working on color

the first image lacks form due to lack of correct values and lighting, so it's something to work on to make a more powerful realistic effect

    more!

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

Good stuff, maybe try using some more hard edge brushes, alot of the painting and the colour becomes muddy with the brushes and opacities you've used, it might make it more clear if you tried stronger brushes and higher opacity/flow settings

yea i just recently did some work where i used 80%-100% opacity and its by far my best work. the two above i used a low opacity (about 10%- 20%)over the values.i learn every day, photoshop is relatively new to me.

    thanks man !

The branch of leafs on the rose somewhat detracts from the usual romanticism that roses have. It's definitely different and all, but right now it looks somewhat out of place. You seem to be really good at your organic pieces - that is, pretty much anything non-mechanical.

And I mean pretty damn good. I've seen a fair few zombies around, but yours are up the top of the ladder by far. Great work so far, man, and I do hope that you figure out the mysteries of Photoshop once and for all.

this is my tribute to one of the best horror movies out, "AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON"
i rarely do fan art but i was just practicing and sketching the dvd cover and i kept on trying new things and this is the result.
this was done with prisma white and black colored pencils, faber castle grey brush pens,a 2b woodless pencil and some titanium white acylic paint.
it was done in my sketch book and i really wish i did it on a better paper.this paper got some ripples in it from all the work done to it.
    about 4 hours total time.
