    Twisteds sketchbook

    so im fairly new to this site, here are some of my pieces.ill start off with my avatar.

    lookin good so far, im interested to see what you produce..

    id suggest for that new one, work it up in black and white, get your values right, then add another layer above that and start working on color

    the first image lacks form due to lack of correct values and lighting, so it's something to work on to make a more powerful realistic effect

    more!

    thanks dude.yea im still working on alot of things to better my art and always think i will be. this piece is actually done but i wanted to show the steps anyway. i do 99% of my work in grey tones 1st. trying to get the values down.i joined here to try to learn as much as i can from some of the amazing artists that frequent here.

    Good stuff, maybe try using some more hard edge brushes, alot of the painting and the colour becomes muddy with the brushes and opacities you've used, it might make it more clear if you tried stronger brushes and higher opacity/flow settings

    yea i just recently did some work where i used 80%-100% opacity and its by far my best work. the two above i used a low opacity (about 10%- 20%)over the values.i learn every day, photoshop is relatively new to me.

    heres a tattoo design im working on for my little sister.the picture of the actual rose is there for a color pallet so i can match up the colors i need.
