Hey man this is cool stuff thanks for posting it. I would really like to see more heads and bodies and stuff because I feel like I can learn a lot for my own drawing by looking at your 'manikins'. Also your step by step red demon helped me realize I need to simply what I'm doing myself. I would beg you to do more step by step stuff but I have to keep my image

No critiques from me, I couldn't really see anything that stuck out which you needed to know about. Was just exited to see these honestly.

    Thanks for the comments guys.
Here are a few more sketches, including a back view of the little alien fish guy that willwilnkler requested.
I really need to dedicate some time to environments, or least paint some background around the characters, I'll probably be working on that soon.

    Hammerhead shark guy
This one's almost finished, still tinkering with the head, I like how his coat turned out.
    And some more figure studies.

Oh my! Your work is super awesome. Lovely. Beautiful. The construction, the lighting, the rendering, even the (forgive me for using such a word) style of it. Please post more as you go because it's so nice to look at these.

    Cool.

Your sci-fi creatures are really awesome and I like how they've still got some sense of natural design.

Finally found a little time to get back to this guy, tweaked his head a little and started to paint in some sort of background. Lets see where it goes.
Also did a little speedpaint, which I should really do a lot more often...

Emil:I do my figure studies from imagination, I don't use any ref.

Awesome, I love them, their anatomy is really natural but still stylized.
