    Sat down to sketch some relatively normal looking human characters, but it soon devolved into mutated arms and electro shooty hands.
    Also did some values studies from kurosawas rashomon.

    If you're interested in cool values and lighting you should definately check out the Swedish/Danish movie Häxan "The Witch" from 1922. I'm just amazed by how they used lights instead of sound in those days. Enjoy!

    Hey Browning, do you generally keep the line art underneath the painting, or does it get discarded/ painted over entirely?

    idrawcartoons: When I do a full render most of the line art gets painted over, but I'll usually leave traces of it here and there if it helps define the form.
