    The window in the top painting is very beautiful - a precious sort of light that casts its spell on the the rest of the piece. Marvelously realised!

    Quigleyer: Thanks, yeah those knees where fun to paint.

    Chris Bennett: Thank you, light can be hypnotising. Did a few colour studies of the interior before I got started with the bigger painting. Sunny days, cloudy days, rainy days. The dominance of different lightsources.
    And then trying to describe the atmosphere, how the dust in the room catches the light and creates the magic.
