this week is as busy as heck : (
SA banquet decorations, tutor job, dance performance, art classes
I enjoy all of them, but... = =" ugh... homework..
yes, back to the main point XD
this is what I have so far : (
still trying to get the hang of it.
Too lazy to scan stuff in last week : P
but im now on spring break!! : D
I am recently in love with shaun tan (as in his artwork)
The arrival Lost things are awesome!!!
did some more stuff in quick sketch class : )
and a WIP of an apple stand : P
Ever since the nuclear meltdown in japan the word radiation has never left the news : (
think its coming pretty soon :/
what a perfect time to stay indoors and draw.
watch your edges and shape definition Vivi! especially in this last one, just go in and define the shapes more
draw with longer more confident lines in your figure gestures, not so much short stabby type lines like you have
looking forward to seeing what comes out of this spring break!
hey nice sb you got going here, I like your style a lot, I think in some of your pencils woudl benefit from more contrast and more values in the tones, right now they all look really good but the tones just kind of blend in together. your pens however are very nicely done. keep up the good work. keep on drawing!
To live is to create, to create is to live. Without art and music, I do not know how I would get by in my day to day life.
@ryanoir: Thanks for the reminder! : P I went through it and changed alot of things.
@thesadpencil: Thanks! and yeah :/ ive noticed many times, slowly improving on the contrast part : P thanks again!
been drawing alot
my neck is killing me = =
ugh...I wish I could detatch it right now
but yeah XD
some that I managed to scan in
I like your homeschooling sketches the best. I also like the way you shade, it's very neat, your strokes come out 'sure'.. At least, it does to me.
Keep on drawing! I'd love to see you make some more. Push yourself to draw these kind of stuff everyday. And it also won't hurt to be adventurous.
Cool cool! Some nice new stuff!
I especially like this silhouette one!
Sorry your neck hurts,
Keep up the good work,
but take a break
for your neck's sake
every once in a while
@laurice: awww thanks :3 I will!
@greyskill: thanks! haha yeah, It's feeling better now!
decided to take a break from computers
so here are some pencil sketches
first one is out of a scene from moonlight (so romantic!!!)
gahhh >w< I love hug scenes, more than kiss scenes XD
second one is a mother on the Mrt, she was talking joyfully
with an older lady beside her of the benefits of having a daughter : 3
third one is just a random sketch : P

I must really thank you for your postings, cause they gave me serious inspiration over the
last days, where I was struggling to find some new Ideas.
Your pictures are really nice and I love the way you draw faces.
That House in the destroyed city reminds me of one picture I was painting. It was some kind of the same Idea but I never finished it.
@MPT : aww, thanks : ) I glad to hear that!! yeah : / I have alot of unfinished paintings too. Keep pushing through though! (I need to do that too = =)
My spring break is officially over!!!!!! (NOOOOOOOOOOOO)

here's a finished(?) train station
my teacher helped me abit on the lighting

Hey Vivi, you have a great sketchbook starting, keep it up! I don't really have much to add right now though. I agree that hug scenes are the best >_< Hugs are nice ;_;
Maybe try doing some exercises for your neck if its hurting a few times a day?
@Enoch412: 是啊 我的新嗜好 XD
@NiaLain: haha, thanks : ) hug scenes give you more of a warm and safe feeling XDDD, and yes = = I shall exercise more.

"This is a paint and pixel-splattered furnace that forges the swords of artistic mastery. This is a place where swarthy and belligerent dwarves drink turpentine mead, berate their apprentices and slap the trade into their skulls. It's where the anvils are made of graphite, the hammers are as true as rectangular marquee selections and the fires burn with the light of a thousand lensflares." --Jason Rainville

btw, anyone know how to post youtube vids on here? : /
Your new work is beautiful!
I especially love these two!
I only have one suggestion..
Your faces from imagination have settled into a defined look.
This happens to me, and even to really talented artists.
I guess that you should try your best to steal attributes for your imagination
from every real face that you draw.
Keep up the great work! I look forward to seeing more!
