I quite like your COW canopy crawler, and that (i guess it is one) selfportrait. You should do more of those, they help a lot.

I also had a shit job at a bakery a while ago. I'm still studying, so maybe not the same situation, but I felt that it held me back and took too much time and energy which I could have put into drawing.
I'd say just keep practicing on the side. I also often take out my sketchbook in the mornings on the way to work and sketch the people on the train/bus, or go to museums/parks on the weekends for sketching.

Not much to show this week. Busy week at work and time comsuming COW means little studying done.
Sketchbook, from imagination while in a moving van ;p
    Face study, (lips fail)
    Cow entry

I'm gonna open my soul abit more in this sketchbook and show my currnet thoughts and stuff.
Ive had to work more than usual coz my job as a removal man got really busy, sucks i know but what can you do. Been through all this stuff before so i wont touch on this, my main thought process recently has been my boss. Hes talking and bragging alot recently about how hes been doing this job for 21 years now, but hes shit. Now my understanding is the more you do something, the beter you become, so how is he still so bad at his job? Its been puzzling me alot and also been making me think about my learning. Is there a right and wrong way to learn? Are there methods of learning which are faster and more effective than others? Or is it as simple as 'the more you do something the beter you become'. Something i notice about my boss is hes ignorant. Ignorant to new ideas, other peoples suggestions, new concepts which i guess doesn't help him.
1 So i guess on step to beter learning is to always been shifting your comfort zones. Doing things agaist the normal ways and expected. Learning things can come from unusally circumstances and unexpected places.
Second thing i notice alot about my boss his hes slow and tends to just float about aimlessly. Its typical to see him on automatic pilot just 'doing' things which leads me to the second pointer
2 When studying, or doing anything for that matter, try to concentrate on what your doing. Its easy to drift off and work automatically, but to beter yourself you have to question your actions and motives. Are there other ways i can be doing this for beter results? Is this the most effective method to achieveing my goal or outcome? I guess only from assessing your own actions and questioning yourself can you open your mind to new ideas.

Thats enough for today, sorry for the lengthy nonsense, just needed to get this out. Any thoughts on this? Thing i'm wrong? Please don't hestitate to say so, also crit on my work crappy would be cool ;p. How can i get beter?

    Peace
