I like it, but the chair seems seriously out of place. Aside from style, it seems massively impractical, since you'd end up at eye level with the top of the desk.

Definitely some great atmosphere going on here. I'm loving the little details like the light behind the plants and the areas where the floorboards are catching light by the fire.

That short chair definitely jumped out at me as wonky though, just like for Nezumi.
There's also something "modern" looking about its design, at last when compared to the candle-lit era.

I'm also curious to see what this would look like without the noise filter.

I should add that bottle (I assume it's a bottle) on the floor by the chair is reading as flat. You might want to address that since it catches the eye.

Bahh! that chair is supposed to be a normal chair, but lying on its back, tipped over. I guess it's not reading that way...

I read it as an overturned chair. I suppose it could be slightly clearer.

Bit of competition for mood in this one. The overturned chair, the scattered papers, the bloodied weapon on the wall...arguing for a sinister mystery. But the fire and the beams and the lightness make it seem quite a cozy and appealing room.

    Nicely drawn, anyway.
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).
