Hey! Cool vehicles! I especially like the second image. Reflections and the water splash make it more dynamic.

    thanks chaps!

heres a couple more quick sketches, taking your feedback on board Farvus.. i think the road could read more roadish, i need to make a custom glossiness map to stop it looking like a canal! any other feedback, paintovers, comments very very welcome!

    my friend Anna suggested
"I would definitely invent some kind of bath floatation tank...like a really fuck off massive... Oh, that's not even that good. That's just a big bath!" i think its a neat idea tho. nice hot water, but in the sea? with bubbles? id have one hehe

heres what we came up with.

I agree with the guy on the previous page mate "I want the car!" that there was some very high quality work mate and I thank you for posting. I love the way you see the world both through your art and through the camera lens. There was something just magical about that red door with the distressed brickwork round it, i mean it could be from three hundred years ago or something, it was lost in time.
God I'm being weird again!! I must still be full of that Stella artois Cidre, its not bad that stuff have a go and see if you end up in a field again !! ha ha ha ha.

all the very best to you bud, stay well, keep posting and stay drunk whenever possible.

    Hi matey

I was mooching around the inter-web and stumbled on this design site and after going through a few pages I decided it was probably right up your street as well buddy have a look. There have been things that made me laugh out loud like the Darth Vader illustration that was made up from from his quotes, through the underwater hotel room (freaky but brilliant!) concept cars from Lambo, Porche, and a Peugeot and the house of the future.

    http://www.techedon.com/tag/design/

hope you like it matey, if you don't just give a sigh and think, god its only 12:30 and he's already on the beer!! (true!) why doesnt he sod off the drunken pillock. LOL

all the very best to you my mate

P.S. I have wandered through it some more and you really really must have a look at the short films called "The Third and the Seventh - C.G.I. done right" best wishes matey - Lightship

Mann, I love the race tracks. I think you captured a great sense of speed and wonder with these images, exactly the things about sci-fi racing that thrills me, gets my adrenaline rushing despite the fact that I'm only watching it on a screen. So kudos to you.

Hi, I have just seen your sketchbook for the first time (came back here after you have osted on my sb), I am amazed with the body of work you present here.
Lot's of great designs and anyway I am always impressed with 3D stuff, I wished I could do that too, but never really had time to explore the media. The interiors of the spaceships are really incredible and this last design of the boat with the pool is great.
I see you also have some nice photos from Portugal, hope you have enjoyed the holidays(?)!
    Cheers!

    Fil

Hey sir. Long time no see!
Just a question that im sure has been asked before, but its hard to search. What to yo do? When i come in here and look around, i see that you're really just doing whatever the eff you want, haha. And thats super cool. But does this lead right into your job too? Have you managed to find work around your awesome and different ideas? Or is everything in here more of an outlet to let your creativity run wild and cool off outside of work?

    Thanksss!

    hello there!
    sorry for not responding quickly!

Voodoo_Mama thankyou for your always encouraging words, I will try to paint more, perhaps if you might give me a theme i will try to make something to it.

krysjez thanks!! i think theres an easy way to make the tarmac have areas of puddles and dry bits, i will try it out, id love to know what yuou think.

Seage thanks a lot mate! I do a lot of architecture and games stuff that never gets released or is ongoing, so i guess this stuff is winding down and practice.. but i enjoy my freetime work a lot more than moneywork usually. although there are exceptions. how about you|?

walnut its your crazy lines man, they make me want to go fast

Lightship69 thank you my friend! The third and seventh is bananas, i wish i could do that! thats a great website too, added to my bookmarks there.

Untier thanks a lot dude! i guess i always liked drawing for fun and i still do, thats the only trick, and i think you feel the same way about art. just keep enjoying it and itll become easier to express your ideas. one day id like to be able to draw like craig mullins or syd mead, theyre amazing.

Yor right back at you man, especially those land coral ones, your smudgy ways are awesome

Aaron_ thank you so much dude! thats exactly the buzz i get from the syd mead pics i was ripping off. love that sense of zooming along!

Shahan your inspiring words really gave me a kick, thank you my friend, and i really like your sense of style in your work. i think the IDW was one with a TRex for a throne for the theme Throne of; ah its below! to be fair it was only me and one other dude in it so not exactly a mighty triumph but the weeklys are just really fun for the sake of them, i recommend them to anyone!

voraz thank you Fil! you should deffo try 3d its amazing how it takes care of some things for you. although im trying to learn to paint my ideas more, 3d is still indispensible for its speed and accuracy at times. oh and great trips, i love travelling its the bomb!

cbrn heeeeey man! thankyou! no need to wait just send me something and i can do a bit and send it back , or whatevs!

Sady! thank you dude! loving the stuff in the crit thread, your painting blows my mind man.

Callops hehe yeah all new for the 2056 model year! i wish i could afford one.

Lord M thank you dude! but i cheat, the water is usually calculated by the 3d, i just tweak it. people who can paint water, now thats skill

Mike wow thank you sir! im honoured you stopped by!

some fast car sketches in different styles, to get loosened up for a project, im rusty!

After looking through your sketchbook I can safely say that, you sir, are indeed a boss.
May I ask to see more portraits? I'm very much intrigued.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.
