    "I dig yer style dude..."

The interior piece on the last page is stunning. It looks very realistic.

As for your overall style, it's pretty unique. I haven't come across too many artists on here that have a look similar to your own.

Your images look like you've taken images of actual things and then add your own designs in them in a way that blends seamlessly with the "photo". How do you do that? Is it just a matter of getting the lighting and perspective right?

Great work though...and it was a pleasure to have you as an instructor this semester.

    Cheers!

it was a pleasure to work with you guys, im sure in a few years ill see your names on Avatar 3's credits!

i dont use photos that much really, except for things like the view out the window of that room, but i do look at them a lot, and see how they work.

im all about 3d/2d blends, they give you ultimate control i think, or would if i could paint properly. and take care of boring hard stuff like perspective leaving you free to noodle the fun stuff. like insect fish monsters...

check out Merl1ns work, i really admire how it captures beautiful things in the everyday world but its so loose and artistic too.

Nicky, thank you for following from the start bruv, I mean it.

You make some really sharp renderings. Both by your own hand and 3D software it looks like. Very interesting style on those fishy things. Can I ask what they are for?

All i can say is O_O

Somehow the last image reminds me of Prometheus.

I don't know how you come up with your stuff but the randomness/originality of your 3d/2d compositions is inspiring.

Hey man, thanks for the stars and the swissknife comment, that really made my day! I been following your SB since a long time. I really like how you pull this dreamesque scenes, there's something always unpredictible in the color scheems and texture wich I love, it's the mark of originality itself, I dunno how to describe it, but it's like there's always some tigger skin cushing, some weird cut window, some water where nobody would put it or some architecture from a forgotten period, something; like that room from twin peaks perhaps and the blue velvet too. Always pushing it away from the confort zone, but finding a higher new confort point after the journey, and trying using wichever method at hand to get the picture of your mind. This is something that always fills me with deep admiration, when an artist really knows in his head where he's going and there's even a rush guiding his hand. Is the mind; and the pencil, the mouse, the hand, the LCD, the keyboard, desk, chair, all is just slightly super imposed to that, as minor impresions and not the opposite way. Is what most of us are struggling to get.
And always pushing the ugly side, asking the ugly to be beautiful, that's the true and not following the beautiful-super dumb-super cliched-super copied-super confortable side, that side that is sooo boring that it makes you want to act like the guy from the GTA game. Always trying to find beauty in the less expected places, like Picasso did. Always looking for the new beauty in a fantastic journey to originality.
In any case, is nice to be able to acompany your journey!

wow man... you massive post a LOT! nice concepts overall. The real attraction is your take on using abstract or surrealism in your overall compositions and designs. They have a mixture of different picturesque aberrations. (learned that word today lol). Keep it up man!

Yeah I've been through your book a few times before, and trip over myself with what to say.
But I've seen a lot of your remixes throughout people's books, and I don't know if its the way
you see things or if its just how much you like playing with it, but the shapes and images are
always interesting to me. Your imagination for stuff is A-grade from me, keep throwing your ideas out here.
