Yes, I agree with everyone else ....your work is wonderful....I wish I had a bow like that one on the first page.....all these wonderful, encouraging comments...and only one that is most likely very sour grapes....I don't know what his problem is unless he just wants to rain on a parade....there is always one...LOL

I feel like all but maybe one of these has a clear story going on in the image; like a snapshot of something much larger. Great job.

Loved all of your works, specially the funeral with all those people trying to touch the woman. Strong composition!

First of all, some shameless linking to my kickstarter project: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/500076908/awakening-the-art-of-michael-c-hayes-volume-two

Haven't posted in a little while, but here is an update on what I have been working on. There will be more in a week or so. I don't want to just dump dozens of images at once.

My god. Wonderful work. Cant believe I just spent twenty minutes in here. I'm supposed to be working, oops. You've just become one of my leading inspirations, and I'll definitely be buying your books.

I love everything, use of colour light detail, and on paper too. Can I ask what type of paper you use and how you get it onto the board, glue etc? I'd also like to use some of your pieces for study practice - your compositions are very strong and I feel I could learn a lot from you - would you mind?

Good luck with the kickstarter project and thanks so much for sharing.

Love the fantasy/reality vibe I get from your work. Maybe someday when I grow up (I'm 37) I'll be as good as you. Bravo!

    Slow progress, but progress nonetheless...

These are nice, are you working from models or just building on drawings of the figure from memory?
