Applying for RCAD -- portfolio help?
I'm a senior applying to RCAD's computer animation program~
I do well in school and my GPA is 3.8, but I'm too iffy about my portfolio ....
I'm afraid my art is rather too expressive/fine artsy with all the brush strokes/texture/idk what people call fine artsy. Also, I afraid my portfolio is lacking some breadth since I only have one still life in it. So, can anyone give me advice with what I need to do? or need? or if this is just ok?
My portfolio is right here ---- http://snottle.artworkfolio.com/
Thanks in advance c":

Have you looked at the Ringling thread? Lots of us hang out there and offer help to people looking to get in
Your site shows much promise, I love all the color! But if you're applying to Ringling's CA program, I strongly suggest including a LOT of sketches from life, figure studies, anything that will show motion, after all, it's an animation program
1, 4, 12, 14, 18 are my favorite images so far.
If it helps at all, here was my accepted portfolio:

I wish you the best of luck! You're work is great! Keep it up! With high grades you can expect some scholarships too
