January 7th, 2011 #1
Hi there everyone, I'm relatively new to this site and to digital art and to start things off I thought I'd start a sketchbook
I'm 17 years old at the moment studying art, maths and tech and have recently decided to improve my art stay on to do it at uni.
I'll try and update at least once a week with new stuff and i'll start by posting some work from my real life sketchbook
Any crits and comments would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for stopping by my thread.
For now I think you (like all of us) have a long journey ahead of you. So I just want to say keep at it, some of it will be hard and some of it will be really hard but at the same time there's lots of it that is great fun. So don't give up
Also look around for some inspiring people and try different techniques and give them a bit of time so you can learn if they work for you.
can you update your thread name to include the date of your most recent update (make it easier to see if you have update)

Go to the main forum menu, double click your thread title to change the thread title. I figured it out by accident.
Awesome stuff here. You've got some nice traditional media.
I never applied to art school, but I dunno. The most well known one where I live doesn't teach you squat about drawing. (I get to hear my friends complain about it.) I don't think anyone can. It's mostly practice and finding the stuff out for yourself.
Keep going. You're doing a pretty damn good job.

Finished my first digital painting and my first teen challenge! (108 Guardian)
Learnt quite alot about what not to do for next time, like painting the whole damn thing one layer
Anaiira: Thanks for looking and telling me how to change the title, would have doomed to have the same title forever otherwise
There are no members to list at the moment.
