    Wawawiwa! freaking love your stuff.
really cool to see the reference you're using for these images, especially when old oil paintings come along to inspire you in a mythical digital piece. Awesome as fuck.

It goes without saying that the majority of artists using CA want to better themselves. For myself, it's important to use the site as a way to be inspired by interesting topics and other artists. I hope I'm not alone when I say that competing in a finals thread, although cool and motivation for pushing yourself, is not even close to the real objective... right?!?!
    you get it

love the work man. i like the process pages you build also.
when choosing colors, is it common practice for you to segment a master painting into colored squares? it looks like a very helpful tech that i wanna try when i get home. is that a filter in ps that does the squaring of colors?

YEESSSS you got a sketchbook!!! haha aweseme stuff man. all your pieces are dynamic as hell and your values are mindblowing! great work. but so this isnt just another asspat cuz im sure you want to get better, i think your colors could use some work. i know youre working from b/w and thats kinda your thing, but i think you could benefit from painting straight into color. im not saying completely change your method, but just to experiment with it a bit. i think itll help.

keep on rockin dude, this stuff is legit

    Last piece was AMAZING.
Did you used a photo for the rocks on the water and the clouds?? I can't get my eyes off the painting. Brilliant.

I love the mountain scene. The skin textures on that one guy hit the spot.

Make a sketchbook happy, feed it a tip to improve!
