    Talking Regenerative medicine

There will ALWAYS be a shortage of donor organs. Therefore, there are only two ways to deal with this shortage: (1) Either force certain people to become the organ donors to certain other people or (2) employ regenerative medicine.

Regenerative medicine is what I call one of the greatest technological achievements of all time. The ability to regrow missing body parts is an unprecedented breakthrough that deserves FULL media attention. Unfortunately, the so-called "news" media rarely report on this breakthrough. Instead, they think useless "information" like Lindsey Lohan's legal troubles is more important.

In any event, here's a place where you can find out more about regenerative medicine:

    Talkin' 'bout regeneration!

You know there are these things in newspapers/news reports called SECTIONS. It's kinda like Craigslist - you can go to the appropriate section to read something interesting.

You are jumping the gun on the promise versus the reality. Right now we do not have any but the most rudimentary abilities to regenerate organs, most of it in the experimental stages. But there is lots of money is going into it, and many researchers are working on it. And the hope is blinding.

Beware of science stories you read however, most are written simplistically in order to generate public support for funding. When you talk to real scientists you always find out that there's more complexity and complications than what was revealed in the news story.

Stay positive. Get the word out. But don't be premature and hype up what isn't yet a reality. Do more real research. Learn the difference between promise and results.

At least this thread isn't all about complaining about something (only partially), and we didn't have to hear that something only had a snowball's chance in the solar corona.

The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
An evil soul, producing holy witness,
Is like a villain with a smiling cheek,
A goodly apple rotten at the heart
