DSG 1592: Sci-Fi • HUGE DOME-LIKE ROBOT IS JUST VISIBLE THROUGH THE FALLING SNOW

    .

[ Include a figure or two in the foreground for some scale... ]

[ Basically you've got a haziness created by the falling snow that provides a strong sense of atmospheric depth. ]

[ ...And there's a big ol' robot in it. ]

Figured the DSGs would be a good way to practice with my new tablet.

    Here's my take:

DSG 1592: Sci-Fi • HUGE DOME-LIKE ROBOT IS JUST VISIBLE THROUGH THE FALLING SNOW

Not too thrilled with it, I think because of the lack of contrasts. Also I didn't account for how cropping the image would skew how the mountains contribute to the composition.

Maybe I'll hit this one again tomorrow.

Damn, it feels good to be back. I'll be around these parts way more in 2011 than I was in 2010!(or 2009, 2008, 2007...)

Anyways, here's my giant dome bot!

Well, looks like I totally missed the topic, no falling snow, and no very huge...

Maybe I'll add some falling snow later.

    Edit: added snow
