Today´s update has some sketchbook pages and a poopie valuestudy.
Sorry for the bad picture quality , my scanner refuses to work .

Goal for today is to do as many digital head sketches as i can, for some reason its alot harder for me to draw head sketches with a tablet. So its time to fix that

    Thanks for lookin!

cool! Looks like you're well on your way to some nice faces Watch that nose-space, I think you tend to elongate it a bit.

I hope you finish the horsemen, whether or not you use it for CHOW! It's looking very dynamic

Hi there! Really a great start to a sketchbook, varied, full of attention to detail, loose, etc. And really well done for joining CHOW, as that seems to be one of the best things around to get people motivated to practice. Can't wait to see the finished piece.

    Best wishes,

Sadly i didnt finish the chow piece on time but i definitely learned lots from it, i think ill still finish it some day but right now im quite tired of it haha.
Didnt get to do much digital work as my tablet drivers screwed up but its sorted now , so i did more studies and other good stuff!
Did a quicky of the amazon chow, just seeing where to go. I kinda like it so far!
The right arm is way off though , so got to fix that , just not sure yet about how to pose it as i kinda want to get a bow in there too somewhere.

    Thanks for looking!

Here's a quick valuestudy/sketch turned into something fun! and some more poses. I liked playing with very saturated colours
Poses are a bit meh i suppose , i really struggled coming up with new ones and not redrawing loomis ones or from other's work
Did way more this week but not much good came out of it sadly , but hey shit happens and i learned something from it hopefully!
    Thanks for looking.

great pose studies man. as long as you drew some thing there's bound to be some learning involved love the digital piece as well-- seems like you have a nice understanding of the structure of the head. the only problem i see is that the colors seem a bit too saturated in some areas of the face (particularly the nose and the cheek) but great progress all round!

-Teapo , thanks for the crit! i wanted the colours to be very saturated but i might have overdone it not that confident with highly saturated colours yet sooo need to practise more!

Ah the joys of horrible horrible and frustrating days
Spent a while trying to fix a botched sketch while i'd be better of starting over. It was supposed to be a speedy but i couldnt get over the silly mistakes. The anatomy is still horrid , as is the pose and values
Going out tomorrow so no chance to redeem myself right away but will push myself to come up with something less crappy saturday.
    Thanks for looking as always!

good updates vodus~ i missed quite a few updates but you're studying the right stuff i'd say study some hands as i'm not sure if the girl's hands in the quick sketch you did in post #24 are facing the right way?? could just be my bad eyesight haha xD

in any case, keep going mate!
