Thread: Getting started..
December 21st, 2010 #1
It has been a long time that i wanted to try and start sculpting.
I did some doodles about a year ago, but i moved to a new house and got married and didn't get to seriously finish something.
I love figures and sculpts, so i had to retry.
Here are my first two tryout work in progress.
Yul the farmer
He was born as a small doodle on a paper.
11 cm (4,33 inches) with his base.
Air drying clay
This one has elements from different drawings with weird hats and headgear.
I think this will end up to be a small bust.
15,4 cm (6,06 inches) his height might change
Air drying clay
Hope you like them, and i hope i can get better with time.
Thanks for watching.

Looks like we're at about the same point. Life's settling a bit and finally giving time to play.
I love the tall hat man. Looks like he would be very tall and thin with a broad chest in a full body sculpt.

Cool, fun stuff. Made me laugh. Yul looks like " Stewie Griffon " all grown up.
