I've been working with my friends at Games Workshop UK for a few years now doing covers for Warhammer 40K. I was a newcomer to the IP when first approached, but I've really grown to love the style. It's a really fun blend of futuristic and medieval motifs. The series has a really die hard and supportive fan base, so I hope I've been able to do the characters justice.
I've posted some of my favorites (in order of release). There are still a few that have not been posted on the Black Library website, so I'll post updates as the newer titles are announced.
Thanks very much for looking. Comments are most welcome!

I love warhammer, for the emperor!
Great paintings man, keep it up
Hi, personally i never got around to play warhammer, watched some vids of gameplay and it wasn't in my taste but your artworks however is something i like , thanks for sharing and hope to see more of your work
Great work! I love some of the textures you got going on.
Hahaha...I do love me some big pink back-lit ears. I see you do too
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).
Best WH art I ever seen.
Nice work dude!
Amazing works! I love warhammer 40k universe!!
Im a fan of yours.
My favorite is the silver Assault marine with the flowery detail on his armor.
Keep up the great work.
sick style! your rendering is top notch and super smooth. i do see a couple minor anatomy glitches, namely your (im guessing imperial guard) soldier holding his shotgun w/ bionic arm action and beasty skull on his belt. His flesh arm: the bicep to tricep ratio seems reveresed as from that angle it should be mostly bicep.. but maybe its a bit how you lighted it... in any case, minor stuff to an overwhelming awesome set of WH40k images. great work!
Thanks for the great comments everyone
Doom-Breath - I jump back and forth from the brush to the smudge tool (always hitting "b" then "r" then "b", etc. on my keyboard). I use a standard round brush for painting most of the time, but I use a bristled type brush for smudging just to add some paint stroke effects. I like this technique because it allows you to keep edges sharp in some areas, but soft and blended in others, all without much masking.
I could talk photoshop all day!
These are great! Makes me think of what the Imperium must have looked like once--back when the armor was shiny and guns were fresh off the assembly line. I see that there's still plenty of wear and tear, but something about these pictures is very sharp and clear, and I like it.
I almost forgot - one of my favorite covers. This was for Chris Roberson's "Sons of Dorn". I couldn't leave this guy out. It was arranged in a circular graphic on the cover, so I've just got it blacked out here.
Thanks for looking!
This one was just released on the Black Library website. It's my cover art for the upcoming audiobook "Labyrinth of Sorrows" by George Mann.
quality, love it all
To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.
Love me some 40k art, awesome stuff! You're setting the bar for cover art for BL
Awesome, i love 40k i'd be happy to see more!
Great job man!!!
I really love the first Space Marine, the filigree on the armour is a really neat touch. Very in keeping with the existing imagery.
Hi Everyone. Games Workshop has just announced two new books for which I did the cover art. I'm posting the images here.
Really fun stuff, as always. Comments are most welcome.
Awesome work man. I'm really impressed. If you don't mind me asking, how did you acquire your first commission for WarHammer? Did you send them samples or did they contact you after seeing your art somewhere?
Love it. nice works.
Highly developed technology - not distinctive from magic...
I have never played Warhammer and probably never will.
I do however like to check out their artwork.
And you are a great edition to the existing work.
Very nicely rendered pics. Like them all.
