    Conor Campbell

Attachment 1402357Hello, I have no idea where I am supposed to post my art, I thought I would try here.

If you could listen to these while viewing my art it would only enhance it as it is directly relevant.

Hello, I am from Ireland, I only started painting and drawing a couple of months ago without any lessons, I hope you like them. They come from listening to music ( mainly psychedelic ) and what i see when i listen to them.

    and a self portrait

These are eyecatching. Really love the ghostly trees and general otherworldliness. Beautiful, all of it but especially the organic stuff.
I think drawing to music does infuse lines with a feeling - I can look at paintings I made years ago and hear the music or words I was listening to while painting, and I like to think I can see a little bit of sound in your patterns, but its probably imagination lol.

For only a few months in, you're hitting it really hard! Great work man, and don't forget to put your sketches and drawings up too. I'm sure everyone would love to see it.

Thank you very much man! I would love to know ways to improve my technique. I feel insecure about my technique as i have never been trained. I am thinking of moving on to oils.
I don't have many sketches as of yet but i will upload any i get in the future.

This is one of the songs that influenced one of my paintings. It is by a friend's band called O emperor.
I made the video for them as well.

This is the main influence. All the colourful psychedelic pieces were influenced heavily by this band's music

Thank you very much. Someone told me I have synesthesia but I really am not sure. I feel the music inside me, especially the organic and psychedelic music and sometimes i see shapes in colours and patterns in my head. By the way, how do i put an image avatar on the my thread in the forum where you look at the thread titles?

I absolutely love the colors you use for your paintings~ Very vibrant and eye catching and they don't hurt my eyes (bright colors tend to do that to me)

    Amazing work, keep it up~!

Thank you very much LadyKnowles! There is a lot of nice art going around here in southern Ireland right now, and the music scene is really blossoming into something beautiful.

Hey man, the figure in Mewsic_by_Cerque.jpg looks really good. You should try to get that feel to your figures more often. Good work!

Wow. I didn't have an appreciation for abstract art until today. Some of your paintings remind me of my grandmother's work.

Do you sell any of your stuff?

It took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done.

    Thank you!

I do sell my stuff, I have to talk to people to see how much they are actually worth.
