I like it a lot! Dig her hairdo, but the glasses seem somehow generic.. Also like the loose, sketchy style you went for. Supports the dynamic pose, and makes her look agile.
Show us the vehicle
simple yet dead on...man i really like this one. nice style, really pops off the page, and yet....so simple. really cool character man. post more please.
to be really picky...her left arm(bicep area) looks like it needs a little shoulder to arm definition. man...i'm just being picky...don't listen to me:chug:
i have to agree, there is some sweet energy flowing thru both these pics. butmaybe the goggels (sp?) are "generic" it dosent seem to stop anybody else from using them, and they certainly tell a bit about who she is....
i think i like the first better than the second. it seems to say that she stands apart from her society, but i could be way off.
the tatoos around her eyes, are a nice touch, but maybe you could make them a bit more defined becasue in the top pic at first i thought they were irises.....
i love it.....id love to see more
Looks fun....Postem more uggh
We now return you to Bullit already in progress...
damn, nice stuff!
Love the street level scene.
yeah post more!
hey thanx for the feedback, seems like im quite ok with the concept, im pretty happy with it also.
but as i said the vheicle is the "focus" of the project. so here is the two concept sketches i have.
second bike = WAY COOL!!!! man i loves it!!
That character concept is slick. Reminds me of Celia Calle. Nice, keep posting here please!
looseness = Coolness. Nice
Dan,I realy like your
character and design!
thanx again for all comments, this is a nother sketch for the project. its an old idea that im reusing for this project - the transatlantic train. the first concept was going on a monorail ubove water but this is a subway connecting the underground citys, London - NY 15min.
the girl is going to race the subway tunnels trying to fin her way out from this world......
really pro renders
Neccessity is the mother of invention.
Love the inviroment, but i dont get the "train" feeling about it.. looks more like some underground passage with some buildingi n the middle there.
Perhaps it's just me.. but anyways i think it looks pretty awsome
could you post, or send me via e-mail, a high res version of gaia_poster for my desktop! that is soooooooo ill!
I self-published a book on the fundamentals of drawing from life.
Dig this style - thank you for posting - more ..more
I love that second bike. Off the hook designs bro. That character is quite cool. Nice rendering. Kudos!
I don't spellcheck...
here is some render tests, im probably going for a kind of monocrome color sheme exept for the girl. havent desided if she is going to be cell shaded or regular shade.....
Impressive stuff, Mr. Multi-talented! My only caveat would be to stay away from the diagrammatic side-view presentation. Very useful for model builders, but very flat for concept presentation.
damn, this is great stuff! i love that chick.
just saw this thread, and those first 2 rocked my face off!!! these all look EXTREMELY freaking unlabored.
