Well I see your landscapes are looking as sexy as ever mate
Thanks for poping by, I really appreciate that.
Youve made some excelent progress yourself, your face portraits are doing really well and your already better than me at textureing with the brush though I suppose that came over from your landscape painting skills
Great landscape man! btw, that portrait is really like Che Guevara :0
Keep the good work man
well this has been super fun! I have only spent about 2 minutes on the background, so I just put a temporary dark layer on 50% opacity so it's not so in the way. Critiques on crazy scottish dude? I know the anatomy's not all there, but i'm pretty happy with it so far compared to anything else i've done. Im also liking the lighting, but again, it still needs a lot of work.
Thanks Medusoid, Asa, and Egg0 for the encouraging comments!
Rock on everyone!
I love the landscapes. LOVE.
I like the figures but a lot of the time the proportions and muscle structure are off. try and get some figure studies in.
http://characterdesigns.com/ is a pretty good site, look at photo sets
http://www.posemaniacs.com/ not the best in the world for anatomy studies, BUT its great for doing figure sketches with time a time constraint. there are hundreds of poses.
hey Jeff, thankyou for your nice comments in my SB man!
the studies are paying off, this is looking really good

Nice sketchbook. Keep it up.
wowzah i have painted a lot today. Me and my buddy Eric Quigley (Quigleyer) are doing a sort of fantasy based art story. We both need some more fantasy pieces in our portfolios and we are usually great at bouncing ideas off of each other. Here's my first piece, I named him timmy. I'll update it again soon.
