    Mariam's sketchbook! :)

So I'm pretty new to this site but I've been lurking in the wip thread for a while. I'm 16 years old and I love drawing most of the things i draw are in my sketchbook that I don't scan because I'm super lazy and none of them are really worth it. Lately I've been really focused on improving the basics, working from references, and just studying value, composition, etc. I have done some figure drawings but they are at school so I'm not sure when I'll be posting them. I'll start out by posting the best thing I've done
And if the picture is too big please tell me ><

Hey. Welcome to the sketchbook forum. Don't worry about posting perfect sketches, it's better to post quantity than quality when it comes to sketchbooks. The more work you do, the more you improve.
I hope to see more soon.

I like the expression on her face and the skin colors are very well done. This looks like its from a bigger piece. Hope you'd share that if that's the case.

thank you I will post more from my sketch book.
And I used a reference from a magazine but the rest is all shadowey and fashioney, and pretty much unusable. But if she had a body it would be in a cool sci fi uniform

The colors are great! Do you do a lot of color work or pencil more?
