How is she filling the color here?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T--klwIjRJ0

Starting from 5:25 she starts dabbing colors in certain areas and going to a command in photoshop letting it do all the math of filling it in. Does anybody know where she's going in the menu to do this?

She goes to the Select menu in Photoshop, then expands it so the selection covers some of the lines, this step is important when you're doing the color flats, it's called color trapping, since the linework is closed you can just magic wand (set to contiguous) and fill it. Photoshop isn't doing all the math lol, you can see her closing with color the areas where the linework is open, then magic wand selecting and then finally filling it with a flat color.

Ahh now I see, . Once I started hitting the pause button a few dozen more times it became clearer after your explanation. At first I thought it was some math that photoshop was filling in, the speed was so fast I missed the wagic wand part.

Still a new neat trick that I now know, closing off lines with color instead of lines, who knew! ><
