But for this ChoW, these teens turn into deadly fighters… the Harajuku Warriors! Prepare for the Super Style Showdown!

More info on the fashionstyles at Harajuku station:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harajuku

I'm liking the idea so far it's a unique thing the Harajuku style. Although is it just me or is there a repeating trend with the recent ChOWs. Asian influences and sexy women. I hope the next one is a little more varied.

Maybe I'll paint a male for this one. *researches male Harajuku*

this should be quite an intersting challenge. I'm terrible at finishing these if you all haven't noticed but I'll definitely give it a go! Excited to see everyone's ideas!

Nice idea for a chow. Some of that stuff borders on the insane, and I'm betting those outfits are carefully put together.

looking good so far, looks like this is gonna be a wacky fun round!

was a bit disappointed with myself on that last chow being irresponsible and sick, was gonna take a break from the chow's but figure i'll do this one more to make up for not making the last chow, here's one variant, kind of switched up the process and decided to just go in color, getting sick of doing tonal work first...

Here's my quick concept for this. Her weapon is fairly unclear at the moment, but I it'll be some giant wand a la Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura. It shoots rainbows and unicorn farts, or something equally unlikely.

Oh man...I was intending to use this week to do a finished version of the last CHOW, which I thoroughly mishandled ( that, and start looking for a real job). But given my enthusiasm for Japanese pop culture, I may not be able to restrain myself.

i think i ll go with the goth-loli gank! they are scary, they can kick your ass, and they have a wicked sense of style.... (victorian style that is!)
i am not too happy with the girl on the right :/ and i think i might change the whole composition into something more dynamic IF i have the time.

@Reginanegra: I think gothic lolitas are more influenced by the Rococo period than the Victorian (much more ornate and extravagant). I had a goth-loli designer friend in Taipei who was very well-informed about that scene.

Oh wow, I've GOT to enter this time! I don't think I have enough experiance to win but that's not what this is about, yes? I have so many ideas (being a deco-lolita myself) so this should be a blast. Good luck everyone.

OK, no more waffling, I'm in! Seems that other have got the loligoth thing covered, so I'm going with a kick-ass rockabilly dancer with a little fuchsia zebra print for flair. Pardon the quality of this sketch, I'm having compatibility issues with my scanner.

I think I'm in for a combo... DECORA vs. VISUAL KEI

Also everyone seems to be going really serious with the weapons, it's all blades and guns and shit... I'm going to be a little less hardcore, more "street fight" than "bloody massacre".

    Fun stuff happening!

Diggin' your style snootchy! And watch your proportions, looks like you're tending to squish and shrink the bottom half of your characters.

IDP: Your girlie reminds me of GoGo from Kill Bill. I like her.

LA-Fairy: Since you've got a whole week left, why not tend to your edges? It's looking a bit muddy right now. And do something about that white background, it's really overpowering your sketch. There's something off in the foreshortening of the arms, and I think the eye farthest from us is wonk. Do a couple mirror-checks and you'll see what I mean.
