    how to duplicate an object?

    new to sketup here just wondering how to duplicate a shape in sketchup?

    One way is to select it then use the Move Tool while holding Control.

    copy+paste that's how i'm doing it.

    Select and moving with control is the better way for me. Because the movement can be glue to a line connected to the original shape.
