it's already that time of year

Hurry up and buy your comic con tickets before the scalpers and asshole twilight fans do!

It was supposed to go on sale yesterday, but for some reason they have a technical error. But it's time to keep tabs on it anyways.

I think they should make Comic Con happen twice a year, like Comiket.

I suffered people traffic jams in NY Comic Con and I can't imagine what it's like in San Diego.

Also, I will NOT forget to go to Staple (Austin) this upcoming year. I just WON'T. Arrrrr.

So many cons to choose from, so little money.

I've been to wondercon and ape and believe me they completely pale in comparison. There are lot's of celebrities, film festivals, your favorite artists, legendary panels, amazing stuff around every corner, comic con exclusives and most importantly JOBS JOBS JOBS.

The foot traffic is pretty horrible. Some times I just wannna do a round house kick and see how many Final Fantasy cosplayers and trekkies I can take down in one fowl swoop.

You mean the San Diego con? I've never been to an American con but I'd sure love to go.

good news is they are planning on expanding the convention center to the edge of the port and buying a hotel next door, so there can be more room. I always thought there was allot of space being unused anyways. Unfortunately they didn't say when it would be ready, but I'm pretty sure it won't be finished this year.

Here's a picture of their plans

How fast do they usually sell out?

Also, a lawn on the roof? That's pretty amazing...

So this could possibly mean I can go to Comic Con, someday, and frolic on the grass with some geek friends? Awesome.
