Go to the bottom of the page in one of the forum sections (the lounge for example). There should be a list of people that are looking through the lounge right now, and to the right of that is a list of moderators.

You don't find them. They find YOU.

Paint a pentagram on your computer screen. Then sacrifice a chicken to the art gods and let the blood drop onto your keyboard. When the whole room starts shaking chant these words in a monotone voice:

"I surrender my soul to the moderators of conceptart.org for them to with as they please. I solemnly swear not to post unnecessary questions in the art discussion forum, but use the search function. Never shall I ask 'what is art?' for it is known that art is sex drawing and further discussion on the subject will only lead unto the path of prejudice and despair. I will not be overly defensive when recieving critique, or my mistakes will be put up for all the world to see on the list of the 'worst of CA'. I will not dwell in the lounge for too long, for I know that my mission is to 'go draw'. Moderators, grant me thy blessings and may you honor me with an audience!"

It can't just be any chicken though. It must be a cock.

Title your first post one of the following:

    What is Art?

Which wonz betterest--Iluustrashun or fine art?

My mother says my style sucks. What should I do?

Then wait 10 hours. At that point, you'll have Mods crawling all over you, including a few WE never heard of before...

You forgot the classic "I am a failure as an artist, pity me" type of threads. I seem to remember a month two years ago or so where the front page of the Art Discussion or Lounge was full of 'em.

N00b at what? Expressing yourself? Making sense? Give some detail, ask properly, state what you want to accomplish and why and say please. That's why you've had no luck with your job postings.

How to get the attention of mods? Do something styu-pid. Like only posting in ALL-CAPS and posting something really amusing like citing Stormfront.

Start with the chicken and the pentagram -- a nice free-range four-pound roaster. Heat your oven to 375F. Chant from the black mass while covering the chicken in cajun seasoning mix. Put it on a bed of potatoes, stick it in the oven and post a message with the title "Sacrificial cajun chicken at my place in ~2 hours." Then sit back. If the mods don't manage to find you, well, at least you've got a tasty cajun chicken dinner.

    Hmmmm. . . .

It'd be interesting to cite ConceptArt on Stormfront:

    "ART IS SEX DRAWING!"

(That would get them scratching their shaved heads with their riding crops.)
