Mandryk, you sir, should have no problem putting a Port together from all of this material.
I have been following your work, even collecting it, since your CGTalk post on the Space Opera piece. You Sir, have a complete range of work here in these! Character art, BG environments, an excellent sense of draftsmanship, and not to mention your recent post on your blog of figure work shows a lot of versatility. Even more than that, looking at your post of concept oriented iterations, it reminds me that as a Concept artist, it is important to continually push shapes, explore.

Love the post, and do keep it up!

Looking at this again, I just visited the LOTR: War in the North site. Is that your work? The style and palette look nearly identical... Amazing stuff! If not, still a big compliment...

    cheers fellas....

mkure; those are old concepts for the Turok universe....the sequel we were working on got cancelled. No real reason for the stars, they are just nice readable shapes you could probably pick up in the middle of a gun battle. =)

HULKFish; thanks man - no i didn't work on that game, but that is some really cool art. I love Lord of the Rings stuff!

Goodness D, you have been busy haven't you? Amazing work, really nice to see so much gear, guns and technical drawings in the mix. You polished stuff is looking amazing and your quick stuff is stronger than ever. Love the life drawings too!

I'm reasonably sure you'll have no problem getting freelance work. <---Understatement.

Love your work, loved the part of the elevator with just one face, curious how that will look in game.

Sweet Jesus. This is absolutely incredible.

You make me want to see the movie and play the game, and I had no particular interest before, have never seen the first movie, and know jack squat about Tron.

    Definitely mission accomplished.

Ahhh here they are!!! Superb work Daryl, I haven't seen much of this stuff, especially the character development and those action shots. Having worked freelance on this project, it's truly rewarding for me to see all the concept work together. Too much amazing stuff to single out anything so props to you brother, you are the man!
