Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
Hi there! I have to say you have good sense of color. The colors on the, sort of, toony pieces are really vivid and nice. Though may suggest, if you don't mind - try using more hard edged brushes for background. Also, have you ever tried to block opacity of the layer? This could be helpfull in order to achieve smooth and sexy blending.
Anyway, keep posting more - wish you luck!
yeah. I'm glad somebody else notices that too that's what I'm sayin'.
well what's done is done now, i'd keep this in mind for my next pieces.
Sketches made during my free time, days out and ....stuff. Some of them were made half a month ago. Who on earth posts sketches two weeks late because she keeps on forgetting/too distracted to upload and process them? Me, that's who!
These sketches are drawn for last month's Singapore Urban Sketchers outing:
These are sketches of a tree I encountered on one of my cycling trips. Well, I cycle to the same park many days a week and I keep on cycling past him, but its' only now that I remembered to sketch his roots. I find his roots fascinating.
probably a plan for my next painting:
testing out a new watercolour pencil (I tinted the background with it before drawing over with the troll in normal coloured pencils):
I'm pretty sure I told you this before, but your cartoon styled work really suits you. There's so much personality in them, I could tell you're having a lot of fun painting those, and it shows. Great to see you experimenting with a ton of mediums as well, much respect.
George, thanks so much for the encouragement!
I have seemed to form this peculiar habit of drawing a lot and then forgetting to scan and post the pics. I guess it's because the drawing bit is easy and fun, the others...not so much.
Here's what I accumulated in the past few days. They're for Spartan Camp. I drew from some anatomy for artists website and drew from this anatomy for artists book i borrowed from the library.
here I am studying from that book:
I bought some new Pitt Artist pens so I was trying it out here
some images i found on google images

I drew a quick caricature of my dad today...well, relatively quick. I took an hour to do this, entirely from memory.
I'm going to go down to the printing shop tomorrow and get this printed on a tshirt.
My dad asked me several months ago to design a t-shirt for him, because I drew myself and got that printed on a t-shirt (talk about being narcissistic ), and I kept on meaning to do it and then I kept on getting distracted and forgot about it until now.
He's about one of the very few people I won't begrudge doing free art for. In fact he's done far more for me than I could ever repay him in art, and aside from this, he asks very little else from me.
