    Liz's Sketchbook

Today I started this sketch and I'm having the worst time trying to get the cat to look right! Can anyone help me figure out what it is about the anatomy that I'm getting so wrong?

I'd love to hear people's comments about the woman too.

Well, one issue with the cat is its elongated neck. Cats don't really have much in the way of necks Also it's eyes are pretty human-ish... unless that's what you're going for

As for the lady, her head shape is kinda weird, her mouth doesn't appear to have lips, and her eyes are somewhat cartoony (again, unless you want it that way).

Improving those areas should make a positive difference.

    also - welcome to CA!
