Surreal. Not much else to say, 'cept you got sweet pencil rendering skills and keep up the updates. I hear those metaphorical hatchets, literally hurt.
    Especially the rusty ones

Bring out your crits, asspats, and assorted comments
    I got me a sketchbook...
Slow, yet hopefully steady, improvement. This way

Awesome concepts you have so far, and as said above, your rendering skills are brilliant.
Just keep posting, maybe do some skeleton studies of various creatures?

Boundless gratitude to the Sceptical Saint and Elz for their kindness in taking a minute to evaluate my scrawls.
And Elz, you were right. Kicking off with some quick plaster skull studies.

Apologies for a paucity of updates. I aim to crank it up over the next week as I slide into the daily routine, and once I find myself reliably updating I hope to increase the frequency to twice-daily.
As sleep draws over me, the mind wanders in dark, beaked places. And then draws them. I will finish and upload a fully rendered version of this pic. In the meantime, the hands look odd to me.

The adventure continues, now with better scanner contrast.
I dont think anything more can be done with this for the moment -

Can everyone see the image up there? I got a red x for a moment before I refreshed.

but i presume youre jus referring to your head bc the drawing look like they came from hell, which is your head.

Well, nice renders and creatures. dont let hell bring u down bc although it may be quite hot, the greatest thing about pain is that it lets you know youre still alive. dig it

    cheers mate

Oh my! I feel so gosh-darned embarrassed to have all you fancy forum-folk in my lil' sketchbook! Guess Ill have to say thanks to each a' yall!

xxPurpleNugxx - Many thanks for your kind words, but I have a long way to go. Just looking up I can see all my errors - but I shall post more. No pain no gain, as they say.

Insanelight - Who does not? The crafting of a bizarre beast is the finest form of art!

mrd33ds - Thanks for your kind comments. And yes, some of these grotesque fellows are my neighbours. The aquiline chap up above us is bloody touchy about playing music too loudly.

Evolvana - And very kind of you to say so! If skulls and monsters you wish, skulls and monsters you shall have.

Many thanks again to both my silent viewers and my more loquacious visitors. You all make me very happy indeed.
Not sure about the visual coherence on the final version. A member of a race of drug-addled degenerates embedding gems in their skulls to act as windows to divine enlightenment.

Having had many commitments today, I am afraid I have little to offer but this smaller, slightly lopsided and inferior doodle. Munch away.
