I'm doing an essay on Caravaggio/Baroque period for art class as part of our art history section. It isn't so much on his life style so much as it is about his techniques. I'm just wondering if anyone could please post something I may have missed about how he painted.
I'm supposed to say how he was inspired by the world as well and cannot find too much about this. if anyone knows about why he painted what he painted other than about the Counter Reformation that would be great.
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post it in, but i thought hey may aswell give it a shot. Thank you very much.
