    Raiders of the Lost Sketchbook

Howdy, everyone. Longtime lurker here finally deciding to nut up or shut up and post my stuff. I'm a junior at one of those east coast art schools, and like most people here, want to get into concept art as a career. Hopefully, I'll update daily or at least weekly. Constructive criticism is very, very much appreciated.

Here's just some graphite sketchbookie stuff to start with, I'll post some more digital stuff soon.

Nice spontaneous style going on here. I love that last ink drawing. Reminds me that I have got to practice with ink more often.

Thanks! I actually used a faber castell brush pen to do the eagle. They have short lifespans, but allow you to ink things at lightning speed. =)

And here's a random face that I made as a brush experiment, also an enviro speedie, and some figures from life.

Hey Arc, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. Wow, you have some stylish, expressive stuff, both sketches and the more finished stuff. I like your color use and that brush study came out looking great. I want to see what you do with that puppy ref!

Gah, I'm so terrible about remembering to update. But here is another honest attempt of trying to build up that habit. We'll see how well that works, haha.

Here are two environments from a current project I'm working on. The idea is basically a mock video game... something like Lord of the Flies on a remote geothermal wasteland of a planet. These are two "bases" for the warring gangs of kids that live there.

Any sort of crits would be loved! =)
