"He carries starlight in his wake..." (is that correct english?)

Someday I write down the story of the Starmaker. Someday...

And I've heard about this thing called "foreshortening". I shall practice it.

    "Oh no..."

Something is happening. Something not good, that's for sure.

If anyone has some pointers to the errors of this pose. please point them out. It's been driving me nuts.

EDIT: Got some pointers on it in another forum and I will give it another try. I did the head first and the rest later. Not a good thing *headdesk*. It's a good thing though that you won't see me twist in turn in front of the mirror for this one *lol*. But if you have more suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

It's the weekly digital study for next week. Early because I've got school next week and a wedding to attend to at the weekend, so not much time to draw.

A little cockatiel . Done in 30 mins or so.

Really like posts 142, 144 and 146. The last two for the poses/expressions, the first because I enjoy the way you rendered it.

Good progress as usual, mate. I can't really crit so just keep up those studies.

Thanks, Naidy. I'm glad you like them. Well, I have to try to get the pose in 146 right in another go. I just didn't throw it away because of Nick's expression ^^

More hand from Hogarth's book. I think I need change of scenery. So I will do some studies out of Loomis' books for a while.

Some Loomis figurines for starters. I think I'm going to switch between the three books regularly to not get frustrated or bored.

Thanks, Nicky. I'll try despite the workload from school.

And today it's ... yes, even more figurines. I enjoy doing these and I will do some of my own as well.
